Morgan Fairchild is an American actor from the United States. Her birth name is Patsy McClenny on February 3, 1950. Her fame grew from the end of the 1970s and mid-80s, when she was featured in numerous television shows that generally featured glamorous looks. Fairchild was first noticed in her role on the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She appeared as Jenna Wade in 1978, the first actress to play Jenna Wade did so. In 1980 she took the lead role in Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded a Golden Globe Award nomination for the top Actress for the Television Series Drama. The actress co-starred with ABC in the short-lived soap Paper Dolls in 1984 and was on the show as Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest between 1985 and 1986. Fairchild was also active in theater as well as in appearances on television shows including Roseanne Cybill, Friends as well as Murphy Brown. For the latter she won the Primetime Emmy Award.
